Removing Makeup: My Nightly Routine

Makeup is one form of art that I have always been fascinated with. Personally, it makes me feel more powerful and confident, which is why I choose to wear it almost every single day.

I make sure, though, that I remove my makeup before going to bed at night. Not doing so can clog your pores and can cause a massive breakout, so, no, I never risk it.

I have a couple of steps for removing my makeup, so make sure to keep reading. Also, if you are looking for Organi Philippines product reviews, you have come to the right place.

The first thing I do is grab a cold cream and wipe it all over my face with my bare hands. This helps loosen up the makeup, which is important since not everything will come off when you wash your face, even with a cleanser.

Next up, I make sure to use a makeup remover. I use micellar water — put a small amount on a cotton pad and rub that all over my face. This helps clean up the loose makeup that I just scrubbed off early on, which is a crucial step before I head on to the bathroom.

After this, I use a gentle cleanser to soothe and cleanse my sensitive skin. I use Organi’s God’s Nectar Radiance Softening Cleanser. It has aloe vera, honey, and cinnamon leaf oil. All of these clear up imperfections and tone skin properly. I swear by this product, as it is the only cleanser that does not cause breakouts for me.

Lastly, I use a toner to get rid of all the impurities that are stuck deep inside my pores. I usually follow up with a moisturizer, eye cream, and lip exfoliator, and I am all ready for bed!

Make sure to take your makeup off before you sleep to avoid getting occasional breakouts. Good luck with trying these tips out!
